Kosovo - The Bradt Guide (Verena Kraus and Gail Warrander - 2nd edition published November 2010)The only English-language guidebook dedicated entirely to Kosovo. Although I haven't yet had the chance to use it in Kosovo myself, I have read it at home and it appears to be a very thorough survey of the country's towns and countryside. Given the dearth of information available elsewhere it should prove very useful to any visitor aiming to venture beyond Pristina. |

Pristina In Your PocketPresumably bored with covering cliched tourist hotspots like Minsk and Tirana, the IYP crew have created the first English-language guide (probably) to Pristina, with lots of practical information that until now has been very difficult to find anywhere. The maps and public transport information are particularly welcome. |

Blue Guide: Albania and Kosovo (3rd edition published March 2001) - James PettiferMuch has changed in Albania and Kosovo since the Blue Guide was published, so many of the practical details have inevitably become outdated. Even so, its outstanding level of details makes it worth tracking down a second-hand copy if you are planning to explore the Albanian-speaking parts of the Balkans in depth. A 60-page chapter on Kosovo is included. |
